Let`s ride this wave called life!

Hey, life is a journey and if you're like me, there have been some detours along the way, but we have survived! I am grateful for all the help I receive and though I don't necessarily have all I'd want, I have all I need. Recovery has brought me peace of mind, the ability to take good care of myself and an optiminstic outlook. Hell, when I was diagnised, I didn't think I'd live another five years, but here I am many years later in good shape thanks to excellent medical care and a good attitude. My longterm girlfriend died in a car crash in 2005, now I'm ready to move on. I'm alone, but not lonely, actually pretty content. I'm bright and inquisitive with a good sense of humor, love to learn, love to laugh, never bored. I am affectionate, romantic (candlelight dinner followed by slow dancing in the living room) and loyal to family and friends. Those I love are told so often. Don't hold grudges - what a waste of emotion! I love the theater, enjoy acting in community theater productions as well as attending plays. I also love music, movies (Netflix rocks!), sports, walking/hiking, golf, skiing, reading and intelligent conversation. And good food, of course! Favorite place I've been is Acadia National Park in Maine. I would love to meet a bright, upbeat woman with a twinkle in her eye living a healthy lifestyle for companionship and possibly an emotional connection. If you are athletic, great! And if you have artistic ablity, awesome! Of course,neither of these is necessary. Good looks and an attractive figure would be nice, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we never know who will make our hearts dance! By the way, I live in Marlboro, not in Worcester. Also, I will post some more photos if I can figure out how to get them small enough to be posted here.
