HIV Passions was contacted to see if we could help get some feedback for a research project on ART/ARV drugs. We agreed to present this short (single page) survey in the hopes that our members and visitors could help by answering a few questions.

Just a quick note about privacy. This survey is set-up so that members and visitors can answer the questions and be completely anonymous in the process. For obvious reasons, we ask that you not fill out the survey if you are not HIV+.
Thanks in advance for taking a few moments to help on this project.

Thank you for considering answering a few questions regarding your feelings on current ART/ARV drugs and what your viewpoints are regarding a possible new treatment for patients living with HIV. Your feedback will help to fund research that supports new innovative treatments to improve your quality of life as an HIV patient.

Please tell us the following:

Your gender:*   M
F
Country you live in:*   US
Canada

or

Outside of the US:
Length of time on ART/ARV:
What is your perceived acceptable HIV viral load?
What is your perceived acceptable CD4 level?
What is your perception regarding side effects of ART and the diseases that you deal with due to ART therapy?
Are they so bad that you feel that your quality of life has diminished?
How willing are you to accept an immunotherapeutic as a "break" from traditional ART therapy? Basically, instead of taking your current drugs, you would take an injection once a month for about 2 years-with virtually no side effects-but you could only stay on this immune-based therapy for 2 years and than return to your ART/ARV drugs. Please explain your reaction to this approach.
